Jessica - Black Ice

Black Ice is from Jessicas winter 2009 collection and it is a black jelly polish with silver glitter.
It is sheer after 1 coat but opaque with 2.
I personally would not wear a plain black polish but this is OK as the glitter brightens it up a lot.
This was a typical Jessica formula but strangely it stunk to high heaven which I have never noticed before with any other Jessica polish...weird!
The brush is great and I have not done any clean-up whatsoever on these pictures.
This is 2 coats plus base and top coat.

OPI - Charged Up Cherry

Now I had 2 thoughts when I applied this earlier...1 was wow that's bright for a winters afternoon LOL! and the other was that this is a dupe for Nails Inc Knightbridge...as you can see I was half right. It is very bright but it is quite a way off of Knightsbridge. This is as bright, but pinker.
I love this but I am not sure how long I will keep it on giving that it is such an unseasonal colour. Better suited to spring/summer I think, really.
It did apply beautifully, this is 2 coats, plus base and top coat.

Hard Candy - Mr Wrong

Oh my god....Mr Wrong, you really are stupidly named for such a wonderful polish!
This is stunning and it's like a greyed out Lilac version of OPI's Reflecting Pool, just gorgeous.
In certain lights it looks like gold foil on my nails it is so sparkly!
This is another one of the swaps which Judy sent me and as you can tell I am thrilled with it.
This is 2 coats plus base and top. I did find the application slightly difficult as the polish is quite runny so a little clean up was required but nothing which would put me off this little beauty!

Color Club - Wild at Heart

Sorry there are only 2 pretty ropey pictures of this but you get the idea!
I think this might be my perfect polish, dark, purple, holographic, opaque in 2 coats, fast drying......what more could I ask for? The colour is slightly off on these pictures as it is a slightly pink purple than you see.
Judy...I could kiss you, thanks for fulfilling my lemming on this, the swap would have been worth it just to get this!

I got mail!

Color Club - Fashion Addict, Wild At Heart and Wild and Willing
SH - Opulent Cloud, Hard Candy - Mr Wrong, Essie - Mint Candy Apple, Brucci - Typhoon Lagoon

Extras of Jolly Ranchers (yummy!), Lipglosses and Gum.

I did a swap with Judy as I asked on here if anyone could get me Color Club Wild at Heart and Wild and Willing. Judy was looking for OPI Reflecting Pool and Rosy Reflection. So we agreed a £/$ limit and the swap was on. Well when my parcel came I decided that I am going to live with Judy.....this is an amazing amount of polish for the same amount as I spent on the 3 I sent to Judy! I was thrilled to say the least!!! So Judy, the flight is booked and I will be with you tomorrow ;)!
Thanks Hun!

Boots No7 - Totally Teal

OMG...what a polish!!!
Unfortunately not one of these pictures shows the true colour of this polish which is more green than it appears...a true deep beautiful teal.
The other polish in the picture is Damson Dream.....when I saw these 2 I just had to have them....love at first sight.
The brush looked like it could be trouble when I pulled it out of the bottle but it was fine and no clean-up was required after application.
This is 2 coats plus base and top coat, I am very impressed with the formula on this one, it reminds me of a Nails Inc polish. I got this in a larger Boots, my smaller ones don't carry it (only boring reds and pinks!)so if you want it a larger Boots may be the way to go.
